It can't get deeper than on this one. The Black Hole EP comes with four new productions ready for the soundsystem. Expect a overwhelming mixture of contemporary steppers dub, original dubstep niceness and outerworldly bass works. Imagine yourself getting caught in a blackhole and enter a different dimension full of wobbling bass and auditory deepness.

Great vocals from Capleton and Jr Cat on driving UK steppers riddims. Leeds' finest reggae rhythm constructors are back with an industrial strength combination enlisting two of Jamaica's top lyricists. Following the success of their last 12 inch release, Up Deh with Mark Iration, the duo have laid down two heavy duty slabs of pure sound system mayhem. Mercy features the unmistakable voice and flammable lyrics of ferocious rockstone deejay Capleton. Thunderclap gives a similarly hard stepping backdrop to the younger brother of Supercat, Junior Cat, who carries the hypnotic family style. The Capleton vocal comes with a pair of spiky, heavily filtered dubs, making mass movement a must. This release was originally due to come out in 2020, but got locked down in the lockdown and is now back due to popular demand.

The legendary DEE JAY, who worked at Studio One as Little Joe in the late 70's and then in the late 80's as the MC of King Stur Gav, is now on ROUGH SIGNAL RECORDS.

This song is based on his Jamaican memories. The A side features a strictly roots and culture style and the B side gives a current stepper style. Both sides are unique with a different vocal.

This is the first Indica Dubs release to feature the legendary; Tena Stelin! As always, Tena Stelin delivers a serious message on serious problems in the world, fitted on a heavyweight steppers riddim mixed and produced by Indica Dubs. Nick Manasseh completely reworks the instrumental for his take on the record, with a laid- back, deep and soulful remix for the B side, perfect to warm up any session.

After a year-long hiatus, Dub-Stuy heralds the return of good vibes with a new installment in their riddim series. This time, they take on one of the most iconic and instantly recognizable riddims in history with “Answer 2021 Riddim”. As usual, Dub-Stuy calls upon an international line-up of top features, led by legendary duo Luciano & Mikey General, Spain’s Sr Wilson and Brooklyn’s own Jonny GoFigure.

The Answer riddim, originally recorded by Clement “Coxsone” Dodd for Slim Smith in 1967, is undoubtedly one of the most versioned riddims of all time, and everyone from Dennis Brown to Frankie Paul has lent their hand to the tune. For this 2021 spin on the classic, DJ Madd invokes early digital productions ala Prince Jammy and Bobby Digital but with the signature Dub-Stuy twist: high-powered, heavyweight and minimalist production. Bouncy, rubber-band basslines and hypnotic snare hits make Answer 2021 Riddim danceable and upbeat, bringing to mind late summer nights dancing with friends as the selector rides the groove.

Leading the charge on the vocals, Luciano and Mikey General return to their top form, bringing us back to the heyday of late 90's roots revival. With their soaring harmonies and golden voices, “Redemption” calls for a return to conscious music while uplifting the listener, with an infectious hook. Sr. Wilson comes next, with his ‘Foodie session’, uniting the world over a shared love for street food cultures. Finally, hometown sensation Jonny GoFigure mashes up the dance lyrically on ‘A Different Answer’.

Answer 2021 isn’t just a riddim; It's a sonic cure to our collective anxiety in these uncertain times, bringing people together and inviting them to take a deep breath, close their eyes, and crank up their stereo.

Fabian Miranda is a legendary name in reggae, not the least because of her lyrical stand in the music. Although banned from airplay by the Socialist government during the mid seventies, the first recording, ‘Prophecy’, became a hit and is regarded as one of the biggest classics from this fertile period of roots reggae (1976/77).

Recorded at Randys and produced by Jack Ruby, knocked out in only two takes by the great Black Disciples band (which included) legendary players of instruments such as, Robbie Shakespeare (Bass), Leroy 'Horsemouth' Wallace (Drums), Earl Chinna Smith (Guitar),  Bernard "Touter" Harvey (Keyboards), Bobby Ellis & Dirty Harry (Horns).

Here is Fabienne Miranda's tribute to Marcus Garvey in all its glory with instrumental dub on the b-side, Produced by Jack Ruby and reissued on Lloydie Coxsonne's label 'Tribes Man Records here is the reissue of the absolutely essential and highly sought-after Prophecy 12" by Fabian Miranda!!

Dubquake Records start off the season by unleashing O.B.F’s “Fufu Lala”, a dangerous new 12” featuring vocalists Charlie P and Aza Lineage.

Once again the French sound system decide to push the boundaries of Dub, creating a heavy cross-over between modern Roots, Grime, Hip-Hop and Dancehall. On the A side, Charlie P lashes out against the so-called “Fufu Lalas” of the music industry, those higher ups who act without integrity. Rico OBF went IN on the instrumental and the crowd-pleasing “Fufu Dub” mix. Flip the record for a sweet remix of Aza Lineage’s “Rebel Daawtaz” and Charlie P’s “Hustler” on the same riddim.

Both of Charlie P’s tracks are raw and personal, rumor has it that he’s working on a big mixtape project… You’ll hear more about this in the coming months!

In addition to this new 12”, Dubquake Records are dropping the long awaited represses of O.B.F’s first two albums “WILD” and “SIGNZ”.

It's already the third release from Prince Alla on Abendigo Records. 
He wrote a song talking about the difficulties in ghetto areas.
